Fred Arvil Campbell
Fred Arvil Campbell, age 88, passed away on Oct. 17, 2020. He was born on Nov. 11, 1931, in Keota, Oklahoma. He was a longtime resident of Slick.
He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Carol (Campbell) Narcomey, two loving siblings, brother Robert Campbell, and sister, Ruth Conley, and nine grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and other loving relatives.
Family members that have preceded him in death are: Donna (Abbott) Campbell, Marie (Reed) Campbell, Stanley Campbell (son), Kirby Campbell (Brother), Louise (Campbell) Smith (sister), Calvin Campbell (brother), Rosella (Campbell) Creason.
“Arvil” was a well-known cowboy, rancher in the Slick/Bristow area. Direct, straight talking man, with a great sense of humor, affectionately known as “grandpa” by many in the area.
Memorial Services are scheduled for 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020, at Faith Baptist Church in Slick, with Reverend Steve Lamberson officiating. Condolences may be made to the family at www.hutchinsmaplesfuneralhome.com.
