Frances Marie (Barnett)Allen, 1958 - 2020

Frances was a resident of Bristow. Everyone knew her as sister. She went to be with the lord on Nov. 6, 2020. She was born on June 25, 1958, in Claremore to Joseph and Eleanor Rachael Barnett.

She attended Bristow High School and graduated in 1976. She was united in marriage to Roy Allen March 11, 2007. After graduation, she continued to work at Bristow Schools as a teacher in Indian Education Aide for 20 plus years. She also worked at the Bristow Indian Bingo Hall and later as a secretary for the Bristow Indian Community. She enjoyed her job.

Frances liked to travel with friends and spend time with her family. She has no children of her own but does have nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. She was a member of Concharty Methodist Church, south of Bixby.

She is survived by her husband Roy Allen, of the home; mother, Rachael Barnett; five brothers, Joe and Tina Barnett, of Glenpool, Justin Barnett, of Bristow, Roger and Stephanie Barnett, of Okmulgee, David and Teresa Barnett, of Bristow, Cliff Barnett, of Bristow; one sister, Linda Morris (Barnett) and G.K., of Bristow; step-son, Jason Hill; sisters-in-laws Teresa Wilson (Barnett) and Sherrie Haynes (Barnett); nephews, Nolan, Josh, Eli, Corey, Chris, Spencer, Zach, Keoni and Eco; Nieces, Amanda, Katie, Robyn, Chenoa and April; great nephews, Caleb, Christian, Canaan, Tristian, Brink, Ayden, Kamden, Dylan, Colton and Timothy; great nieces, Emma, Calli, Caelyn, Cadence, Cheyenne, Kolby and Layla, as well as numerous cousins, friends, classmates and co-workers.

Wake services were held at 6 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 8, 2020, at the Hutchins Maples Matherly Chapel. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Nov. 9, 2020, at the Trinity Baptist Church.
