Foad was baptized on Sept. 25, 1938, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. He attended St. Joseph Catholic School from kindergarten through eighth grade, under the teachings of the Carmelite sisters and Irish priests. In 1975 during his tenure at Freddies, he was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree from his very own “Slyman School of Busboy Technology” which he proudly displayed.

Foad was very proud of his Lebanese Heritage and proudly took on the humor, actions and personality of his great uncle Deeb Slyman and adorned his walls and memories in the family home and his final residence at the Legends in Tulsa.

He was an active member in the St. Joseph Catholic Church, serving and representing his family in the Knights of Columbus, Altar boy, preparing the church and altar for services, ushering, money counting, and keeping the church books and records.

He is survived by his sister, Rosanne F. Slyman Miller; sister-in-laws, Sherian Slyman, Jean Slyman, and Maxine Slyman, and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends from around the world.
