Farris Ann (Parks) Justice was born March 13, 1937 at her grandparents' home near Hulbert, Oklahoma, to Jim and Cora Parks. She departed this life June 8, 2022 at the age of 85.

In 1941 the family moved to Muskogee. Mom was proud to be an Okie from Muskogee where she graduated from Muskogee High School in 1935 in the top 10 percent of her class.

On Oct. 12, 1957 Farris and Paul Justice were united in marriage.

Mom spent many of her early years raising a family. When the kids got older, she went to work.

Mom spent many years running the concession stand for the Coon Hunters Association, She was involved with Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts for years. She worked for the Bristow News Paper as a proof reader. Most of her time was spent in retail working for JC Penney, managing Sharps Department Store before working at Braces Furniture Store in sales. Believe it or not all three of these businesses were located in the same building on Main Street in Bristow.

Mom had many hobbles including knitting, crocheting, sewing and doing crafts with her kids and grandkids. She enjoyed reading mystery and suspense novels. Moms' favorite was reading the paper and doing the crossword puzzle.

She enjoyed spending time with her family. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and the family always had a great time gathering together and enjoying some great food and company.

Mom is survived by two sisters Phyllis Raines, of Tulsa, Jimmie Jones, of Porter; four children Mark Justice and wife Lisa, of Athens, Texas, Robert Justice, of the Bristow home, Glenda Douglas and husband Brad, of Bristow, Pamela Childress and husband Tracy, of Sand Springs; seven grandchildren, Wesley Dotson, of Del City, Melissa James and husband Mike, of Chickasha, Jerod Justice and fiancée Autumn, of College Station, Texas, Matt Dotson and fiancée Tara, of Bristow, Jessica Bass and husband Cody, of Athens, Texas, Johnny Childress, of Depew, Cutter Justice, of Athens, Texas; five great grandchildren, Brook Davidson, Gracie, Carter and Abbey James, Bradyn Dotson Douglas, Raelynn Childress; also many nieces and nephews.
