Elfrieda Eliza (Hartis) Shoopman was born on May 2, 1947, to William Vern Hartis and Loma Cook Hartis in Waxhaw, North Carolina. She departed this life on Sept. 17, 2021. Elfrieda was a loving wife and a mother of three daughters. She was an ordained minister and loved going to church. Her hobbies were reading her Bible and spending time with her family. Most of all she lover her Lord and Savior. Elfrieda Eliza Hartis married Eddie Mack Shoopman July 31, 1965, in South Carolina.

She is survived by her husband and daughters and grandchildren Angela Kelley: Stacy Maroon, Thomas Maroon, and Zain Kelley. Dena Skaggs: Amber Howard and Monica Barnes. Thresa Carter: Ashley Langley, Kristen Langley, and Jordan Shaver. Also survived by three brothers: Bill, Walter, and Bud Hartis. Elfrieda also has 19 great grandchildren that she loved dearly.

She is proceeded in death by brothers Van Arrow, William and Jerry Hartis and Sisters Emma, Mary, Ann, and Leona, and her great granddaughter Adley Grace.

Memorial service will be held Oct. 23, 2021 at 11 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church, in Bristow. Services will be officiated by Reverend John Tidwell. Lunch will be served after the service by the Church.
