Debra Sue Johnson

Debra Sue Johnson was born February 15, 1963, to Jerry and Shirley Copeland in Tulsa. She departed this life Oct. 29, 2023 at the age of 60 years. She had been a Bristow area resident for the last 37 years.

Debby was a graduate of Jenks High School. She and James Leo Johnson were married Oct. 23, 1980 in Tulsa,. They enjoyed nearly 34 years together before his passing in March of 2014. Debby’s time with James blessed her with two children Jason and Lynzie. Debby worked many years in the healthcare industry as an administrator, later moving into an activities director position. She loved to be outdoors relaxing while gardening. Debby jumped at the opportunity to travel, she could yell BINGO with the best of them and often found time for the casino.

Debby is survived by her children, Lynzie Johnson, Jack Rowe, Crissy Rowe, Ronnie Coker and Red Plum; mother, Shirley Copeland; brother, Michael Copeland; four grandchildren, Dylan Johnson, Jeramiah Rowe, Landon Rowe and Austen Rowe.

She was preceded in death by her father; husband, James Johnson and son Jason Johnson.
