Christopher Lee Crawford

June 6, 1979 - December 7, 2023 Christopher Lee Crawford (Chris), 44 years young, of Bristow, departed this life on Dec. 7, 2023. Chris was born in Bristow on June 6, 1979 at Bristow Memorial Hospital to Robert Lee Crawford, Jr. and Ruby Faye (Morris) Crawford. Chris passed away peacefully at his home in Bristow after a long battle with cancer.

Chris was preceded in death by his parents, grandmother Ave’Lee Morris, who raised Chris for Ruby after her passing, brother, Patrick Lavelle and a host of other family members.

Chris is survived by his two children, son, Kameron Lee Rigsby and partner Candise Nicole Gilstrap, daughter Tarynn Ann Crawford, honorary son, Colby Parker and partner Makayla Ryann, brother, Andre Lewis Crawford and partner Timira, granddaughters Ava’Lee Kim Rigsby and Alaiya Saraye Rigsby, other family members, Clatie Dennis, Classie Crawford, Bob Crawford, Joe Crawford, and Andrea Morris, and special friends Timmy Proberts, Greg Dansby and Ryan Williamson.

A Celebration of Life was held Saturday, Dec. 16, 2023, at New Life International Worship Center in Bristow, with Pastor Eric Parker officiating. Kameron and Tarynn asked everyone to honor Papa Chris by wearing something red and they showed up and showed out. Chris was most definitely honored at his celebration. A special thanks goes out to Pastor Parker's team at New Life International. We couldn't have done it without you. As per his request, Chris will be buried with Ruby Faye, in Harlinsville Cemetery at a later date.
