Christopher Elliott Haikey was born Dec. 17, 1984 to Ellis Riley Jr. and Gladys (Bigpond) Haikey in Claremore. He departed this life March 16, 2021, at the age of 36.
After graduating from high school, he traveled around to many cities never placing roots down at one place. He enjoyed listening to rock music and playing the guitar. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his father, Ellis Riley “Jack” Haikey Jr.; one brother Ellis Riley Haikey III, of Tulsa and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
A wake service was held at 6 p.m., Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at the Hutchins Maples Matherly Funeral Home and a memorial service on Wednesday, 10 a.m, at the Hutchins Maples Matherly Funeral Home. Condolences can be sent to www.hutchinsmaplesfuneralhome.com.
