Bobby Lee Lloyd Sr. was born Sept. 27, 1933, to Clyde and Mabel Lloyd in Marshall, Oklahoma. He passed peacefully on Feb. 16, 2021, at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

He was united in marriage to Marilyn Wise in 1955 in Miami, Oklahoma. From this union were born five daughters and one son.

During his 87 years, Bobby was a member of the army, the VFW, American Legion, Creek #226 Masonic Lodge, where he was a past Worshipful Master as well as a Shriner. He worked for OG&E where he retired in 1993. During this time, he helped with firework sales, selling the wonderful Vidalia onions, and transporting children from Oklahoma to the Shriner hospital in Shreveport. He loved to tinker and build new things out of old things especially old gas meters.

Bobby had an infectious laugh and never met a stranger who always helped someone in need. He loved meeting friends at the donut shop in Bristow for coffee and donuts on the weekends, teaching his many grandkids and great children things. All that knew Bobby will miss him dearly.

He leaves behind his wife of 65 years Marilyn Lloyd, one sister Kay Vann of Caney, Kansas, daughters Kimberly Lloyd Hamilton and husband David, of Nowata, Kathleen Allen, of Tulsa, Carol Neese and husband Ronnie, of TulsaKaren Flatt and husband Roy, of Claremore, 11 grandkids and 19 great grandkids.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Mabel Lloyd, his seven brothers, three sisters, his son Bobby Lee Lloyd Jr, and his daughter Connie Denise Lloyd.
