Beverly J. Schreckengost, 85, formerly of Airport Rd., Corry, Pennsylvania, died Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021, at the Rouse Home, Youngsville, Pennsylvania.

She was born March 26, 1936 in Bristow, a daughter of the late Harold and Claudia “Maye” Yarbrough Armer.

Beverly was raised and educated in Bristow. She attended Draughn Institute, in Tulsa. She worked for Riley S. W. In Sapulpa, OK for five years and later worked for an airplane parts manufacturer in Witchita, Kansas. Beverly’s primary job was being a homemaker and caring for her family.

She was a member of Faith Evangelical Church, in Corry, and maintained a love for her church family at Trinity Baptist Church in Bristow. In her younger years, Beverly enjoyed riding horses.

In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond Miller; a daughter, Laura Miller Dearman and two grandchildren.

Beverly is survived by her husband, Maurice L. “Pete” Schreckengost, whom she married Aug. 15, 1982; a son, Rick Miller, of Tulsa; a stepson Daniel Schreckengost and his wife Diane, of Corry, Pennsylvania.; and two step daughters, Marti Schreckengost and her husband James Sacco, of Lakewood, Ohio; and Linda Schreckengost of Corry, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and three step-great grandchildren.

A memorial service was held on Monday, at Faith Evangelical Church in Corry, Pennsylvania.
