This week at Bristow Public Schools our students hit the ground running, and started either their first or second year of school sports at Bristow. Students started their year off with football, softball, cheer, cross country, and track.
Softball has started off their season playing Kiefer, Sperry, Stroud, Cushing and, along with a few tournaments. They have started off strong and will continue to grow even stronger throughout the years they are at Bristow. Football has started practices on the first day of school, and also some scrimmages as well. They will have their pictures with the softball and cheer on August 20th 2026. They will have their first game on August 31 at Berryhill! You are more than welcome to come out and support our players and coaches. Bring Cross Country has been doing AWESOME!!!! They had their very first meet on Saturday August 15 in Stroud, and they supported our school well. Middle school girls got third place, and middle school boys got 4th place. Along with the help of our amazing coaches: Coach Lyons and Coach Hennum. Our runners don’t stopuntil they hit the finish line.
Our Bristow Cheerleaders will be at the very first game in Berryhill, warmed up and ready to hype up our crowd, coaches, and players. We could also use your help encouraging our team to win and do better.
Lots of athletes are working really hard focusing on offseason activities/ sports getting better every day. Sports like basketball, wrestling, and offseason track. All in all, Bristow Sports are headed down the right path in order to be successful in life. “ We will be better than we were the first day.” - Coach Sanders
