Sammie Helen Polm
Sammie Helen Polm was born Nov. 11, 1950, in Oklahoma City, raised by Samuel and Mamie Wheeler. She departed this life Oct. 10, 2020 in Tulsa at the age of 69 years.
Sammie was united in marriage to Odell Polm Jr. in 1966. From this union were born two children, Erika and Cassandra. They enjoyed over 35 years together before his passing in 2001.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed specifically reading mysteries. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by two daughters, Erika Driver of Stillwater, Oklahoma and Cassandra Foust of Bristow; one brother, David Tarrant of Bristow; two sisters, Wilma Bozworth and Mamie Bozworth both of Drumright; six grandchildren, Dannyelle Driver, Raven Hong, Alexandra Driver, Joshua Brasel, Matthew Brasel and Robert Foust; five great grandchildren, Cadance Brasel, Spencer Brasel, Evelyn Hong, Calani Foust and Faylea Brasel; one sister in law, Debbie Wheeler of Newalla, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Wheeler and Mamie Tyler, stepfather, Doy Tyler, husband, Odell Polm Jr., sister, Betty Sommers, brother, Roger Wheeler, nephews, Odie and James Bozworth.
Memorial service is scheduled for 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 17, 2020 at the Hutchins Maples Matherly Chapel.
