Are you ready for the 4th of July? As a reminder, the Sam Varner Memorial Firework Celebration will take place this Saturday, July 2. Bring your blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the afternoon and evening watching the spectacular firework display over Lake Massena. Vendors will be set up for those who might get hungry or thirsty. With good food, drinks and views, what better way to spend the afternoon. Fireworks will begin at dark.
At approximately noon, the back side of the lake will be closed to the public but you will be able to gain access to the golf course or country club via 12th Street.
Sapulpa will be hosting a Drone light show at 9 p.m. Saturday, July 2. You can view the show from Kelly Lane Park or Reasor's parking lot. For more information, call Tiffany Barnett at (918) 606-4576.
The City of Drumright will be hosting its 4th of July celebration on Monday night, July 4, starting at approximately 9 p.m. at the Whitlock Park, located at Jones and 2nd Street. There will be free water, watermelon and pickles. Area vendors will be set up and there will be face painting for the children or the young at heart.
No matter what your plans are for the weekend, going to the lake, family picnic and barbeque in the back yard, always remember the most important thing this holiday season, safety first.
