The ghosts and goblins will soon be hitting the streets for Halloween. Trick or treaters, this year, will have a wide selection to choose from Halloween evening. The City of Bristow will be closing off West Sixth and Seventh Streets from Spruce to Elm for this year's Halloween event. Local businesses and some local churches will have tables set up, passing out candy, hot dogs will also be available. to allow for safe Halloween fun for area children. This event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 30, from 6 – 9 p.m. Also on Saturday, Oct 30, Woodland Village, 121 East Ninth Street, will be passing out candy to the ghosts and goblins from 5:30 – 7:30. This is a great way for the senior residents to enjoy the holiday too. On Sunday, Oct. 31, the First Freewill Baptist Church, 211 W. Hwy 16, Bristow, will be holding a Fall Family Carnival. Dinner and games will be from 5 – 6:30 p.m. and Trunk or Treat will be from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. Along with a lot of fun games, there will be hay rides, bounce houses, and a small petting zoo.
Depew will hold its trick or treating from dusk until 9 p.m. Depew First Baptist Church will hold its Fall Festival on Sunday, Oct. 31, starting at 6 p.m. On Saturday, Oct. 30, the Town of Kellyville will host a car show from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. and Trunk or Treat from 5 – 8 p.m.
Rustic Acres in Okemah, has pumpkins, fall produce and fall decor. Pleasant Valley Farms in Sand Springs has pumpkins, a 15 acre corn maze and over 20 free activities for some family fun. Other places to visit are the Patch. There are two locations, one in Sand Springs and one in Glenpool.
