The lighting of Bristow's community Christmas tree was held Thursday evening, Nov. 23.
The tree is located on the corner of 8th and Main for everyone to view who travels into town or down Rte. 66. The tree is a Wisconsin Balsam fir Christmas tree which stands 26 feet tall. It now has the priviledge of being known as the tallest community Christmas tree in the area.
The lighting of the tree Thursday evening, kicked of the Rte 66 Cowboy Christmas for this holiday season. The lighting included carriage rides, live music and local shopping for all to enjoy.
The Bristow Retail Merchant Association, along with Molly & Socks Christmas Farm owners, David and Sherri Hurst, Buddy and Robin Beasley, the City of Bristow, Mayor Kris Wyatt and others, the tree will glow for the Holiday season.
