James Scott Robinson, age 42, from Kellyville, was arrested by the Creek County Sheriff's office and charged with murder one allegations. Robinson had been released from the department of corrections where he had served time for felony convictions in 2007.
The sheriff's offce received a 911 call regarding a possible shooting west of Kellyville on 241st West Avenue. Upon arrival, the deputies found Marcus Sewell, age 29, with a single gunshot wound to the head. Robinson was not on the scene when deputies arrived but walked up to the property while deputies were on scene. Robinson was detained by deputies and later arrested. The deputies reported finding a .38 caliber revolver with one spent round in the pistol.
The OSBI and Creek County Sheriff during investigation found that the deceased victim had been allegedly picked up at a Burger King at 41st and Memorial, in Tulsa earlier that morning. Robinson, a girlfriend and Sewell returned to the residence in Kellyville. After returning, an argument allegedly broke out between Robinson and Sewell. The girlfriend allegedly stated that the victim verbally accused Robinson of being involved in a white supremacist group known as the Aryan Brotherhood.
The report states that Robinson allegedly attacked Sewell in the living room by punching Sewell in the face at which time Sewell hit the floor. He then allegedly threw Sewell causing him to strike a door and then allegedly pulled a gun and shot one shot. That one shot was fatal.
Robinson is being held in the Creek County Justice Center, in Sapulpa, on first degree murder charges.
