The city council met in council chambers, Monday evening.
After roll call, invocation and Pledge of Allegiance, which is always held at the beginning of the meeting, the board discussed and considered acceptance of the resignation of Brandon Flood, Ward 3 councilman.
The board approved the minutes from the July 18 and the special meeting minutes of July 21, along with maintenace claims, un-paid and paid claims, capital improvement claims and payroll claims.
The council moved on to discuss and consider approval of a service agreement between Jones Memorial Airport/City of Bristow and QT Pod LLC for the fuel tank farm.
Discussion and consideration was made on aceptance of an anonymous donation for equipment and authorization to purchase equipment for active shooter training.
The board then considered approval of a lot change size for the Wildflower Meadow Addition with discussion of annexation of the property.
Abatement was discussed and considerd on property located at 914 S. Walnut for weeds grass, trash and debris along with dilapidaed buildings.
After adjouning, the council moved on to the municipal and hospital authority side of the meeting, approving various claims.
