Bristow Police Department released a statement saying it will be observing zero tolerance traffic policy this upcoming school year. The Bristow PD has every intention of keeping the children of the community safe during the school year. The following will bot be tolerated.
• Speeding in a school zone.
• Running stop signs in neighborhoods near the schools.
• Failing to stop and/or yield from all school parking lots.
• Not stopping for a school bus.
• Excessive acceleration from stop to yield signs.
• Driving in a manner not reasonable and proper.
• Reckless driving.
To the police depatment, the children's safety is top priority and no matter who you are o who you know, you will receive a citation so please observe all rules when in the vicinity of the schools.
