Scott Forrester was quite surprised on Monday morning when his EMS family presented him with a beautiful clock marked with 25 years of service. Forrester is a paramedic with the Creek County EMS, currently at the Sapulpa location. His EMS family got together and surprised him with a special recognition for his years of service to the community. When asked what made him want to become a paramedic, Forrester emotionally said that his father worked as a fire EMS when he was a child. Every Sunday evening the family would eat dinner early so they could watch the television show Emergency. He was hooked. Forrester said, “I went into the service to do the exact same thing, to be a paramedic.” When he came out of the service he did exactly that, be a paramedic. He said, “I have been a paramedic my whole adult life.”
Forrester has resided in Bristow since 2000, along with his family. He says his nine year old keeps him pretty busy. Forrester says in his spare time, he loves to build Lego with his nine year old. It has become quite a hobby for the two of them to enjoy together.
A congratulation goes out to Forrester. Thank you and all the Creek County EMS for your dedication to the people and the communities you serve.
