Fourty thousand dollars in grants has been awarded to the teachers at Bristow Public School this year from the Bristow Education Foundation. The Foundation invites and encourages teachers to apply for funding. Each application is evaluated on needs and availabe resources. These grants are there to help teachers provide much needed support with equipment and supplies, to help to educate the youth. This is the largest grant funding that the Education Foundation has awarded to teachers in its history.
In addition to helping teachers, the Education Foundation also encourages the community to get involved and make contributions to its scholarship fund that the foundation gives out to graduating seniors. The scholarships range anywhere from $1,000 to $12,000 and provides much needed financial assistance to a graduating senior who wants to further their education.
