A last-minute disagreement between the Oklahoma House and Senate over a pandemic relief bill to fund domestic violence programs is the only piece of unfinished business from a two-day special session that allocated almost $2 billion to water infrastructure, broadband and mental health needs.
According to a release from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations, OSBI, the bureau is investigating the death of a 35 year old male in Lincoln County. The Lincoln County Sheriff and Sac N Fox Tribal Police responded to a call at an address just outside of Prague city limits where they found the man dead from a gunshot wound. At this point the OSBI was called in.
The Bristow City Council met in chambers Monday evening discussing various agenda items on the city side, municipal side and hospital authority side. After roll call, invocation and the Pledge of Allegiance the council got busy approving the minutes from the last meeting and approving claims.

A deadly July 31 attack on corrections officer Alan Jay Hershberger is part of a dramatic increase in stabbings at Davis Correctional Facility, which incarcerates high-risk, violent offenders.
