On August 6, 2022, NRS (National Roper’s Supply) inducted its 5th ever NRS livestock “Show Team”. The world’s largest retailer of team and calf roping ropes, NRS was built around supplying products to the rodeo and roping world, but in recent years has expanded its offering to include livestock show supplies for most species. Their products range from equipment to products for daily care from both Weaver and Sullivan’s Supply. New board member Carmen Bruner-Still

The Creek County Conservation District would like to welcome our newest board member, Ms. Carmen Bruner-Still, to the Creek County Conservation District Board. Ms. Bruner-Still, was sworn in on Thursday, November 17, 2022, during a Regular Board Meeting, to the Creek County Conservation District board. Ms. Bruner-Still will be stepping into Mr. Donald Stephens’ seat, who was appointed during the October 24, 2022, Special Board meeting to replace the appointed position of Mr. Jim Manning.

The Little Orange Barn closes craft fairs with gratitude

As summer finally wound down in late October, The Little Orange Barn’s monthly craft fairs followed suit. The Little Orange Barn (LOB) owners P.D. and Marla Woolery began hosting the fairs with local area vendors in March. For eight consecutive months, LOB held craft fairs on the final Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at VFW Post 3656. Unfortunately for customers, the fairs wrapped for the year on October 29.
