Molly and Socks Opens for Christmas Season

Each year, families around the world flock to stores and farms to select the perfect Christmas tree. For many, the endeavor sparks new family traditions and lifelong memories, which Molly and Socks Christmas Tree Farm owners David and Sherri Hurst hope will happen as families visit their farm this holiday season.

The Little Orange Barn closes craft fairs with gratitude

As summer finally wound down in late October, The Little Orange Barn’s monthly craft fairs followed suit. The Little Orange Barn (LOB) owners P.D. and Marla Woolery began hosting the fairs with local area vendors in March. For eight consecutive months, LOB held craft fairs on the final Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at VFW Post 3656. Unfortunately for customers, the fairs wrapped for the year on October 29.

(USACE Lake Level) Largemouth bass good on crankbaits, lipless baits, and spinnerbaits around brush structure, main lake, points, and riprap. White bass fair on jigs, sassy shad, and slabs around main lake and points. Blue and channel catfish fair on cut bait and shad around main lake and river channel.
