New scam alert

Another scam going around. The Creek County Sheriff’s office states that this scam has taken text message form. The text seems to be from th Oklahoma Department of Pubic Safety but looks a little different from the last one that was going around.

As the 38th annual Wildflower 5K Run draws near, a 2026 honoree has been chosen. Every year one special person is chosen with the run being dedicated in their honor. This year the honoree is Toni Godwin. Godwin is the executive director of the Bristow Social Services.
