Sunday, Feb. 28, 2021, a low cost spay and neuter clinic was held at the Jones Memorial Airport in Bristow .The event was held by Bristow Furry Friends in coberation with Ruth Steinberger and Oklahoma Spay Network.
The event was a great success with the spaying and neutering of 50 Creek County dogs and cats. The group along with volunteers started at 7:30 a.m. and continued throughout the day until the last dog went home. A shout out to the volunteers who donated their time to help with this event and to the veternarians who volunteered their time, along with Steinberger and Beth Roberts. According to Roberts, Bristow Furry Friends/Bristow Barnyard Rescue, these events will be held periodically in order to help control the population of unwanted dogs and cats. There are so many unwanted dogs and cats, these events are certainly a great way to have your pet spayed or neutered at a low cost.
