Eucha: August 20. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 86°F and murky. (USGS Lake Level) Largemouth bass good on crankbaits, plastic baits, and topwater lures around brush structure, shorelines, and weed beds. Channel catfish good on chicken liver, cut bait, hot dogs, and shrimp around docks and shorelines. Crappie fair on jigs and minnows around brush structure and docks. Fort Gibson: August 20. Elevation is 2 ft. above normal and stable, water temperature 86°F and murky. Largemouth bass slow on crankbaits, jigs, spoons, topwater lures, and worms around coves, docks, points, and riprap. Paddlefish good snagging around channels, main lake. White bass fair on crankbaits, in-line spinnerbaits, plastic baits, and spoons around channels, main lake, and points. Comments: The return of the heat has slowed fishing back down a bit. You can still catch crappie suspended off brush or around docks, be patient with presentation or use live bait. Crappie and white bass are being caught around the humps at Long and North Bays. Blue catfish still doing well on shad suspended deep from juglines or fishing deeper channels near the shore. With the water being high and dirty the bow anglers are having a tougher time finding fish. Black bass bite is tough, try topwater early. Grand: August 20. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 85°F and stained. Largemouth bass good on crankbaits, plastic baits, and topwater lures around brush structure, docks, shallows, and shorelines. Blue catfish good on cut bait, shad, and shrimp around flats and main lake. Crappie fair on jigs and minnows around brush structure and docks. Greenleaf: August 20. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 86°F and clear. Largemouth bass good on crankbaits, plastic baits, spinnerbaits, spoons, and topwater lures around points, rocks, and weed beds. Blue and channel catfish fair on chicken liver, cut bait, shad, and stinkbait around docks, flats, and main lake. Crappie slow on jigs, minnows, and small lures around brush structure and docks. Kaw: August 20. Elevation is 1 ft. above normal and falling, water temperature 88°F and stained. triped bass hybrids and white bass fair on crankbaits, cut bait, jerk baits, jigs, live bait, live shad, spoons, and topwater lures around main lake, points, and riprap. Crappie good on grubs, hair jigs, jigs, live bait, minnows, small lures, spoons, and tube jigs around brush structure, creek channels, riprap, and standing timber. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish excellent on crawfish, cut bait, grasshoppers, live bait, live shad, shad, stinkbait, sunfish, and worms around creek channels, main lake, river channel, river mouth, rocks, and shorelines. Comments: Thermocline remains around 15 ft. Setting juglines with hooks below 15 ft. will result in dead/wasted fish. Report submitted by Spencer Grace, game warden stationed in Kay County.

Keystone: August 20. Elevation is 1 ft. above normal and falling, water temperature 84°F and murky. Largemouth bass fair on plastic baits, topwater lures, and tube jigs around creek channels and rocks. Blue and channel catfish good on cut bait and dough bait around creek channels, main lake, river channel, and river mouth. Report submitted by Bailey Johnson, game warden stationed in Creek County.

Lower Illinois: August 18. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 60°F and clear. Rainbow trout fair on caddis flies, inline spinnerbaits, and PowerBait below the dam. Comments: Best times are early morning and late evening; the best areas are below the dam and at the Watts area. Report submitted by Brek Henry, game warden stationed in Sequoyah County.

Sooner: August 21. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 84°F and clear. Striped bass hybrids fair on live shad around main lake. Largemouth bass fair on jerk baits, plastic baits, and topwater lures around brush structure, rocks, and weed beds. Blue and channel catfish fair on cut bait, shad, stinkbait, and sunfish. Spavinaw: August 20. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 86°F and stained. Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits, jigs, and plastic baits around main lake and points. Channel catfish fair on cut bait, shad around flats, main lake. Crappie fair on jigs, minnows around brush structure and docks. Report submitted by Kody Moore, game warden stationed in Mayes County.

Tenkiller: August 20. Elevation is 1.5 ft. above normal and stable, water temperature 88°F and murky. Largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass fair on buzz baits, jigs, and plastic baits around brush structure, docks, and points.White bass good on crankbaits, in-line spinnerbaits, and jigs around brush structure, channels, and main lake. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish fair on chicken liver, cut bait, live bait, shad, and sunfish around channels and main lake. Comments: Anglers can have success with bass by fishing early morning or late evening, throwing into areas with shade, or fishing deeper water. White bass are being caught by trolling the main lake and channels, especially the lower end of the lake. Catfishing is good by road or setting out of jugs. Webbers Falls: August 20. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 86°F and murky. Blue and flathead catfish good on cut bait, live bait, and shad around flats, river channel, and tailwater. Largemouth and spotted bass fair on crankbaits, plastic baits, spoons, and topwater lures around brush structure, coves, points, and rocks. Blue River: August 22. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 82°F and clear. (USGS Lake Level) Largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass good on jerk baits, spinnerbaits, topwater lures, and tube jigs around brush structure, discharge, rocks, shorelines, and weed beds. Broken Bow: August 18. Elevation is 9 ft. below normal and falling, water temperature 89°F and clear. Largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass fair on bill baits, crankbaits, and plastic baits around brush structure, main lake, points, and standing timber. Eufaula: August 18. Elevation is 1 ft. above normal and falling, water temperature 77°F and stained. Largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass fair on crankbaits, jerk baits, jigs, and plastic baits around channels, points, riprap, and rocks. Striped bass, striped bass hybrids, and white bass fair on crankbaits, hair jigs, jigs, and shad below the dam, discharge, and tailwater. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish good on cut bait, dough bait, live bait, live shad, and sunfish around channels, river channel, river mouth, and rocks. Konawa: August 20. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 92°F and clear. Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits, jigs, and plastic baits around main lake, river channel, and weed beds. Striped bass hybrids and white bass fair on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, and live shad around coves, inlet, main lake, and river mouth. McGee Creek: August 18. Elevation is normal and falling, water temperature 87°F and stained. Largemouth and spotted bass slow on Alabama rigs, bill baits, buzz baits, crankbaits, in-line spinnerbaits, plastic baits, and topwater lures around dam, docks, main lake, and sandbar. Crappie slow on minnows, small lures, and tube jigs around docks, main lake, and standing timber. Channel and flathead catfish fair on dough bait, live bait, live shad, shrimp, and worms around channels, dam, main lake, riprap, and rocks. Pine Creek: August 18. Elevation is 1 ft. above normal and stable, water temperature 88°F and clear. Largemouth bass fair on topwater lures around coves and points. Crappie good on jigs and tube jigs around standing timber. Channel catfish good on chicken liver and cut bait below the dam and river channel. Robert S. Kerr: August 18. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 80°F and murky. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish good on crickets, hot dogs, minnows, shad, stinkbait, sunfish, and worms below the dam, creek channels, main lake, river mouth, tailwater, and weed beds. Largemouth and spotted bass good on buzz baits, minnows, small lures, spinnerbaits, and sunfish around brush structure, coves, points, tailwater, and weed beds. Crappie good on hair jigs, jigs, and minnows below the dam, brush structure, coves, docks, river channel, tailwater, and weed beds. Texoma: August 20. Elevation is .50 ft. below normal and stable, water temperature 87°F and clear. Striped bass good on live shad, slabs, and topwater lures around channels, flats, main lake, and points. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish fair on cut bait, dough bait, live bait, live shad, punch bait, and stinkbait around coves, docks, main lake, points, river channel, and river mouth. Crappie fair on caddis flies, hair jigs, jigs, minnows, and small lures around brush structure, coves, docks, points, rocks, and standing timber. Comments: Fishing this week has been good. Striper are being caught on live shad.They are being caught near Platter Flats, Washita Point, dam, and Preston Point areas. Catfish are being caught near the mouth of the rivers on live shad and cut bait. Crappie are being caught on minnows and jigs near brush piles in 10-23 ft. of water.
