Greenleaf: January 2. Elevation is 2 ft. below normal, water temperature 48°F and clear. Largemouth bass fair on Alabama rigs, bill baits, jerk baits, minnows, plastic baits, and spinnerbaits around coves, docks, main lake, and points. Crappie good on hair jigs, jigs, minnows, and slabs around brush structure, docks, and main lake. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish slow on chicken liver, cut bait, minnows, shrimp, and worms around coves, docks, and shorelines. Kaw: January 2. Elevation is normal, water temperature 40°F and clear. Blue catfish excellent on cut bait, punch bait, and shad around main lake and river channel. Paddlefish good on snagging around main lake and river channel. Crappie good on hair jigs, jigs, and minnows around brush structure, creek channels, main lake, riprap, and standing timber. Keystone: January 3. Elevation is 4 ft. below normal, water temperature 44°F and stained. Blue and channel catfish slow on cut bait, live bait, live shad, and plastic baits around channels, river channel, and river mouth. Crappie good on jigs and live bait around brush structure and docks. Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits, jigs, and plastic baits around coves and rocks. Lower Illinois: December 30. Elevation is normal, water temperature 49°F and clear. Rainbow trout fair on in-line spinnerbaits, midges, nymphs, and PowerBait below the dam. Comments: Water is now cycling between periods of generation and no flow. Best times are during periods of low flow of water from the dam, usually early morning or late evening. Webbers Falls: January 1. Elevation is 2 ft. below normal, water temperature 48°F and stained. Largemouth and spotted bass fair on Alabama rigs, bill baits, flukes, jerk baits, plastic baits, and spinnerbaits around creek channels, main lake, and points. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish fair on chicken liver, cut bait, minnows, shad, and worms below the dam, river channel, river mouth, and tailwater. Crappie fair on hair jigs, jigs, minnows, slabs, and small lures below the dam, brush structure, main lake, and standing timber. Foss: January 2. Elevation is 5 ft. below normal, water temperature 38°F and clear. Crappie fair on jigs around main lake. Striped bass hybrids good on paddle tails in deep water. Catfish fair on live bait. Walleye slow. Report submitted by Eric Puyear, B & K Bait House.

Blue River: January 3. Elevation is normal, water temperature 47°F and clear. Rainbow trout excellent on in-line spinnerbaits, midges, nymphs, PowerBait, and spoons around creek channels, river channel, and rocks. Comments: Orange and chartreuse mouse tails have been producing good numbers for bait fisherman. Various nymphs, midges and egg patterns have been catching lots of fish for the fly fisherman and women. Broken Bow: December 30. Elevation is normal and rising, water temperature 53°F and clear. Largemouth,smallmouth, and spotted bass fair on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, flukes, plastic baits, spoons around brush structure, channels, creek channels, points, standing timber. Eufaula: December 30. Elevation is 4 ft. below normal, water temperature 47°F and stained. Largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass good on buzz baits, crankbaits, jerk baits, and plastic baits around brush structure, channels, points, and rocks. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish good on cut bait, live bait, and shad around channels, main lake, river channel, and river mouth. Hugo: December 30. Elevation is 1 ft. above normal, water temperature 56°F and murky. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish good on chicken liver, cut bait, dough bait, live bait, punch bait, shad, stinkbait, and sunfish below the dam, channels, main lake, river channel, shorelines, and standing timber. Konawa: January 1. Elevation is normal, water temperature 48°F and clear. Largemouth bass slow on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, and plastic baits around main lake, river channel, and weed beds. Striped bass hybrids and white bass slow on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, and spoons around discharge, main lake, and river channel. Lower Mountain Fork: December 30. Elevation is normal, water temperature 46°F and clear. Rainbow trout excellent on PowerBait, small lures, tube jigs, and worms around creek channels, dam, river channel, rocks, and spillway. McGee Creek: December 30. Elevation is 1 ft. below normal, water temperature 41°F and murky. Channel and flathead catfish excellent on chicken liver, cut bait, dough bait, shad, shrimp, and worms around flats, points, river mouth, and shorelines. Largemouth and spotted bass good on Alabama rigs, bill baits, crankbaits, jerk baits, plastic baits, and sassy shad around brush structure, coves, docks, and rock. Pine Creek: December 30. Elevation is 3 ft. above normal and falling, water temperature 49°F and murky. Robert S. Kerr: December 30. Elevation is normal, water temperature 46°F and murky. Crappie good on hair jigs and jigs around creek channels, river channel, and river mouth. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish good on chicken liver, hot dogs, minnows, shad, and sunfish below the dam, main lake, river channel, river mouth, and tailwater. Sardis: January 1. Elevation is above normal, water temperature 47°F and stained. Largemouth and spotted bass slow on bill baits, plastic baits, and spinnerbaits around brush structure, creek channels, points, and standing timber. Blue catfish slow on cut bait, shad, stinkbait, and worms around main lake and standing timber. Crappie slow on jigs, minnows, and tube jigs around brush structure and standing timber.

Texoma: January 1. Elevation is 1 ft. below normal, water temperature 50°F and stained. Striped bass good on flukes, live bait, live shad around channels, flats, main lake, points, river channel. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish fair on chicken liver, cut bait, dough bait, live bait, live shad, and punch bait around channels, coves, creek channels, docks, main lake, points, river channel, and river mouth. Crappie fair on caddis flies, grubs, hair jigs, jigs, minnows, nymphs around brush structure, channels, coves, docks, standing timber. Comments: Fishing this week has been good. Striper are being caught on live shad very well this week. Cats are being caught on cut shad and live bait. Crappie are being caught on jigs with power bait around brush piles and docks. Wister: December 30. Elevation is normal, water temperature 38°F and murky.
