Corwin Family Dentistry has a new dentist on board. Meredith Corwin is following in her parents footsteps and has joined them in their dentist practice.

Corwin is the daughter of J. Owen and Debroah Corwin, of Bristow.

She said, “ Mom and Dad being a dentist, I always knew it was an available option for me. I have always been interested in sciences, even when I was in high school, health sciences in general.”

Corwin graduated Bristow High School in 2012. She spent four years at the Oklahoma Christian College, in Edmond, obtaining a Bachelors in biology. From there, she attended four years of dentistry at the OU Health Center in Oklahoma City. Corwin said she plans to practice general dentistry while she is continuing her education on implants, braces and so forth. Corwin said, “I am confident that I will be able to learn all aspects of dentistry.”

Corwin says she and her husband may eventually make Bristow their home but right now they reside in Chandler as her husband works in Oklahoma City, so it is equal driving distance for them. The couple is expecting their first child, a little girl, in December.

Corwin said this year is her parents 25th year of being in practice in Bristow. This weekend they are doing a Facebook Live Celebration during the lunch hour to introduce Corwin and talk about it being Corwin Family Dentistry’s 25th year of service to the community. They will be doing a giveaway for teeth whitening and a pumpkin decorating contest for the kids.
