Patti Robinson, a loyal, hobbyist gardener, keeps a well-groomed, beautifully designed yard, popping with color in the bright morning sun. Her dedication and gardening skills resulted in Bristow Garden Club choosing her yard at 510 West Eighth Street for their May “Yard of the Month” honors.

In 1975, Patti moved to Bristow from California, living in her current home since 1978 and creating a simple, delightful outdoor space throughout her time at the residence. She genuinely enjoys her home and yard, a sentiment evident in the time and detail she devotes to their care. Given her enjoyment of being outside and dedication to the beauty of her outdoor living areas, gardening seems a perfect fit for Patti. She enjoys getting out in her yard so much that she even broke her foot last year while gardening and relocating rocks. Though she missed out on gardening much of last year due to her injury, she is back at work this year, creating a lovely outdoor space to enjoy with her friends and family.

As for how she feels about the community, Patti loves Bristow. She says that the friendliness of the community, where nearly everyone knows everyone, is one of her favorite aspects of living in the small town. Patti quickly adds that another of her local favorites is spending time at Lake Massena and Klingensmith Park among nature.

When out and about, be sure to drive by Patti’s home and view the living beauty of her gardening efforts.
