On the afternoon of Saturday, Dec. 18, the Muscogee Creek Nation Lighthorse Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigations were called to the scene of a homicide at a residence located on South 191st Street South, just north of Bristow. The victim of the homicide is an enrolled member of the Cherokee Nation.
The FBI has not released any information regarding the victim and as of press time, they have not named a suspect in the case.
Authorities said the homicide is believed to be an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public. The FBI is asking if anyone has any information regarding the homicide, to please contact them at 1-800-CALL-FBI.
