Injury collision on south Hwy 48

An injury collision occurred Halloween on SH 48, approximately seven and a half miles south of Bristow, near West 321st Street South.

Ronnie Wilson, age 50, of Bristow, was walking southbound on the fog line when he was struck by a 2005 Ford Expedition, driven by Millard Laskey, age 50, of Bristow. Laskey had two passengers in the vehicle, Regina Laskey, age 42, of Bristow, and a ten year old juvenile also of Bristow. Neither the driver nor the passengers in the vehcile were injured. Wilson was transported by Creek County EMS to St. John's Hospital where he was admitted in stable condition with external trunk injuries.
