Injury collision between four semis on I-44

A injury collision, between four semis, occurred on Thursday, near mile marker 207 eastbound on I-44. Three semis and trailers were parked on the shoulder of the road and all drivers were in their sleepers. The three semis included a 2016 Volvo semi and trailer, occupied by Jamoliddin Okbutaev, age 26, of Mainville, Ohio; a 2016 Freightliner semi and trailer, occupied by Dinxiang Liu, age 41, of Hacienda, California and a 2011 Freightliner semi and trailer occupied by Sonny Arra, age 43 of Anthony, New Mexico. The accident took place when a 2020 Kenwoth box truck, driven by 21 year old, Willie Williams, age 21, of Moore, Oklahoma with passenger, Kaydroina Ridgewater, age 20, of Oklahoma City, was traveling eastbound on I-44 when for unknown reason, ran off the roadway to the right, striking the three parked semis. The Freightliner then ran off the roadway and through a fence before coming to rest. Williams was taken to St. Francis Hospital, in Tulsa, admitted in critical condition. Ridgewater, the passenger, was also taken to St. Francis, but listed in stable condition. The other three persons in the parked semis were not injured. Seatbelts were equipped in the Freightliner, but were not in use and was not equipped with air bags.
