Happy Holidays at Oklahoma Tire Recyclers

Shelby Sturdevant, office manager at Oklahoma Tire Recyclers, came up with an idea to do a Christmas Greeting in front of the business that was totally unique to anything they had done before. Sturdevant's idea was make everthing out of, of course, tires. She and seven other employees, Mickey Wren, Lucas Blackburn, Jay Spangler, Skiler Lane, Marian Smith and John Sturdevant, got together and got busy, creating the OTR's Christmas greeting to all. The project was constructed out of 36 different sized tires, then painted. It took three days just to get everything painted.

Sturdevant said, “ We hoped this would be a fun way to spread some holiday cheer around Bristow, one tire at a time.”
