The Creek County Fall Fair was held Sept. 23 – 26 at the Creek County Fairgrounds. It was a great weekend to take the family and enjoy the carnival, exhibits, tractor pulls and rodeo. The active management of the Creek County Fair is in the hands of the the Creek County Fair Board which is composed of three members elected from each Creek County Commissioners District annually for a three year term. The management of the fair is the executive board, consisting of a president, vicepresident, secretary, teasurer and five members of the board. The board and members try to bring you the best in the way of livestock, farm crops, vegetables, fruit, canned goods, etc. The fair is held annually, and always in September. This year the fair was a huge success with great attendance.

The carnival kept the young and the older, entertained with rides such as the ferris wheel, spider, zipper, merry-go-round, tilt-a-whirl, sizzler, gator, G.I Joe, train and bumper cars. Each evening at 6 p.m. the crowds were entertained with live music. Thursday evening, Sept. 23, a rodeo was held with bareback ridiing, tiedown calf roping, ladies barrel racing, team roping, bull riding, breakaway roping, junior and pee wee barrel racing. Saturday a tractor pull was held with several different catagories from stock, modified, motorcycle and hot rod and super rods. Several area kids placed at the fair and it was enjoyed by all who attended.
