The Bristow City Council members met Monday evening in the council chambers. Several items faced the council including discussion of a possible action to approve an agreement between the City of Bristow and PEC Professional Engineering Consultants, providing services on the swimming pool rehab project.
A presentation was given by Bristow Chief of Police and assistant chief of police regarding the purchase of two preowned SUV's for the Bristow Police Department, including the animal control vehicle.
The board discussed the purchase of a lawn mower for the cemetery and a fireworks production contract between the city and Rainbow Fireworks for the Fourth of July fireworks show. The council then discussed abatements within the city.
On the hospital authority side of the meeting, the council was given an update of the negotiations with Carrus Health regarding operations of the Bristow Medical Center.
