Carmen Bruner concert cancelled

Local jazz musician Carmen Bruner was scheduled to perform live at the Freeland Center this Thursday, Feb. 3.

Due to the forecast of the incoming bad weather aross the state of rain, sleet, ice and snow, Bruner regretfully has had to cancel her performance.

Bruner began her love for music at an early age, in Bristow. She was trained by her mother and sang in a group with her three brothers. Bruner recorded some of her music on tape, but her dreams were put on hold. Later in life she decided to reach for her dreams again and made an album.

The concert will be rescheduled for a later date but at this time, it is unknown as to what that date will be.
