Even though the coronavirus is putting a damper on a lot of holiday events, Bristow's annual Christmas parade is still a go this year. The parade will be held Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. The line up will begin at 6 p.m. in the high school parking lot. The city will begin blocking off Main Street around 5:30 p.m. so you will need to take an alternate route. The parade will begin on North Main and travel down Main Street. The theme for the parade this year is “The Spirit of Christmas”.

Forms to enter your float in the parade may be picked up at SpiritBank, Community Bank or at Dr. Cantrell's Vision Source. All entry forms are due back by Nov. 27. If you miss the entry deadline, you may sign up after that by contacting Dr. Cantrell's office.

The parade will take place as scheduled unless something happens, such as the coronavirus cases making more of a surge than it is now, then it may have to be cancelled. Due do the overwhelming increase of cases with the virus, it is asked that while you are attending the parade to please practice social distancing and wear a mask for better protection.

For more information regarding the parade, you may contact Dr. Cantrell's office at (918) 367-2020.
