Ascension St. John and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oklahoma sign new agreement

A new, three-year agreement keeping Ascension St. John in network for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma (BCBSOK) members has been signed. The agreement, reached for Feb. 1, 2023, includes six Ascension St. John Medical facilities and the Ascension Medical Group. The partnership in place with Ascension and BCBSOK will continue to promote quality, cost-effective health outcomes for BCBSOK members.

“Ascension St. John is a vital part of the communities we serve,” said Stephania Grober, president of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma. “Providing the most comprehensive access to care in Oklahoma is the foundation of what we do and we are excited to continue this partnership with Ascension. Our new agreement means our members can continue to seek care at these facilities, with their doctor’s at in-network benefit levels.”

Facilities included in the agreement are:

• Ascension St. John Medical Center Tulsa

• Ascension St. John Medical Center Broken Arrow • Ascension St. John Jane Phillips Bartelsville

• Ascension St. John Jane Phillips Nowata

• Ascension St. John Owasso

• Ascension St. John Sapulpa Ascension Medical Group and the six Ascenstion St. John facilities will remain in these networks: Blue TraditionalSM, Blue Choice PPOSM, Blue Preferred PPOSM, Blue Advantage PPOSM, BlueLincs HMOSM and Native BlueSM.
