The Bristow Garden Club is proud to announce the winner of it's 2022 annual garden tour.
Mike and Janet Wilson of 191st Street South won the best garden of the tour.
Mike and Janet share a total of five sons, two daughters and 17 grandkids. Janet, a native Bristownian, was a 3rd grade teacher, retiring after 42 years of teaching. Mike is a Texan, relocating to Bristow when he was employed by Halliburton.
A tour of their sprawling gardens is a product of their gardening love and teamwork. Janet has always been a garden enthusiast. Her love for natural beauty spread to Mike as they developed their property in less time than their five years of marriage. The graceful beauty of the lacy hydrangea are one of Janet's favorite bushes. Trees arch the drive as you enter the property and flowers, bushes, trees, and water spots are everywhere. A beautiful garden oasis.
