If the world hadn’t been turned upside down by the corona virus, the last day of school for Bristow students would have been May 7, 2020. The Edison teachers, for Teacher Appreciation Week, decide to hold a parade on Thursday, May 7, at 5 p.m. They will travel through town to share love with all Bristow Public School students. The teachers invite you to come out and enjoy your evening in your front yard and watch for the teachers to pass by.

Also for Teacher Appreciation Week, which is May 4 - 8, 2020, Bristow Public Schools decided to celebrate virtual, each day of the week. Monday was Say Thanks Day, send a note to the teacher via email or snail mail; Tuesday is Share a Smile Day, make your teacher smile or laugh with a video message; Wednesday is Send a Gift Day, give your teacher a digital gift card is you wish; Thursday is Sing Praises Day, share a song with your teacher. You can sing on Zoom or send a video and Firday is Spread Love Day. Use social media to send a shout out to your teacher.

No matter what you do, make sure teachers know how much they are appreciated for all they do.
