Easter Egg Hunts scheduled for Easter weekend

Bristow's annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday, April 16. The hunt will be held at the city park and will begin at 10 a.m. As in previous years, there will be four age groups one - 3, 4 - 6 and 7 - 10 years. Each year Sharon VanOrsdol puts together this hunt for all the area children to enjoy. With donations from the community, help from the 4-H members and VanOrsdol's sister, Shirley Brown, who stuffs all the eggs, the hunt Is sure to be a great success and enjoyment for the entire family.

Each egg is stuffed with a special surprise and a prize is given away for each age group. As happens each year, the Easter Bunny will also be attending the hunt to talk with the children and provide a picture opportunity with the bunny. What great fun for the entire family. This year the area children will have the opportunity to go to the city hunt on Saturday, but can also attend another one on Sunday. C &J Mercantile is holding an Easter Egg Hunt, Sunday, April 17 from 2 – 5 p.m. at the facility located at 36921 W. Hwy 66. The Easter Bunny will be attending this event too, along with games, bounce house and lots of fun for all who attend. There will be four different age groups, with each hunt starting at different times. The age group zero – three will begin at 2:45 p.m., age group four – five will begin at 3:15 p.m., age group six – eight will begin at 3:45 p.m. and the age group of nine – 12 will start at 4:15 p.m..

Two days of fun filled Easter Egg hunts for everyone. So mark your calendars and enjoy the day.
