The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations (OSBI) is investigating the death of an inmate at the Creek County Jail. James Biesenbach, age 54 of Kiefer, was found dead in his cell two days after being booked into the jail.

Biesenbach was a person of interest in the murder of an aquaintance of his, one James Heflin, of Galveston, Texas. Heflin was found dead in his home in Galveston. After evidence was collected from the scene, the Galveston District Attorney issued a warrant for murder on Biesenbach.

Biesenbach was picked up in Creek County and booked into the Creek County Jail on murder charges.
