I am honored to stand before you as Bristow’s mayor, celebrating this significant milestone in our journey towards progress, growth and connectivity.

I want to express my gratitude to everyone who has contributed to bringing the ACCESS Oklahoma vision to life, especially the State of Olahoma and the hardworking men and women at the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority. I also want to thank the Bristow City Council and our partners in Creek County government. Thank you to the City of Bristow’s dedicated employees, and of course, our citizens who continue to show unwavering support for the future of Bristow.

Expansion of the Turner Turnpike is a strategic response to the increasing demands of a thriving State. Safe, efficient, and reliable transportation infrastructure is critical to the ongoing growth and development of the Tulsa to Oklahoma City corridor. The Turner Turnpike expansion is not just about laying asphalt and concrete; its about laying the foundation for a brighter future.

This expansion will open new opportunities for businesses, attract public and private investments, and make our city an even more attractive place to live and work.

Because of this important infrastructure investment, Bristow is on course to experience remarkable growth in the next few years. The new entrances and exits along with the service roads will have a once in a generation impact on the Bristow community. With this opportunity, the City of Bristow is committed to ensuring that our city is positioned as a vital hub of economic activity, fostering commerce, and improving the overall quality of life for our residents and the surrounding rural region.
