Psalm 100 (NLT):
“1 Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth! 2Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before Him, singing with joy. 3Acknowledge that the Lord is God! He made us, and we are His. We are His people, the sheep of His pasture. 4Enter His gates with thanksgiving; go into His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him and praise His name. 5For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and His faithfulness continues to each generation.”
As I walked into the sanctuary for prayer this morning Lord, I sensed the warmth of you Holy Spirit, and was reminded just how desperately I need You! I decided that this would be a good day to quiet my spirit and let You do all the talking.
Speak to me—I’m listening Father.
Thank you for allowing me to be the Shepherd to those You have entrusted me with. Thank You for the love and encouragement the people at Fellowship Nazarene share with one another. Thank you for giving me courage in these hard times. Thank you for providing enough fortitude for the daunting tasks ahead involving this virus.
I’m not asking You to make the way easy, but I am asking that you provide enough grace necessary for every task You put in front of me.
Father, no matter how difficult the journey becomes, no matter how challenging the day or hour, no matter how gloomy the heavens seem . . . I will trust in You!
I pray this in Your Holy Son’s name—the One who died for me. Amen
