Greenleaf: January 2. Elevation is 2 ft. below normal, water temperature 48°F and clear. Largemouth bass fair on Alabama rigs, bill baits, jerk baits, minnows, plastic baits, and spinnerbaits around coves, docks, main lake, and points. Crappie good on hair jigs, jigs, minnows, and slabs around brush structure, docks, and main lake. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish slow on chicken liver, cut bait, minnows, shrimp, and worms around coves, docks, and shorelines. Four local youths become Eagle Scouts

Last Saturday, the Fourteenth of January, at 11 a.m., Boy Scouts of America (BSA) Troop 571 held an Eagle Scout Court of Honor for four young men, James Hawkins, Nathan Burgett, Jacob Ingram, and Isaiah Wilson, at the First Church of God on South Walnut Street in Bristow. All four scouts earned and were awarded their Eagle Scout rank during the ceremony.
