In a recent podcast interview, a woman said she’s convinced her grandfather was communicating with her family, from heaven. But, she also stated, “He was a staunch ATHEIST” throughout his life! HOW DOES THAT WORK? She’s saying, “In life he didn’t believe in God” as being real.

What Nails It is a novel by Greil Marcus and was published by Yale University’s press in part of their series called Why I Write. Marcus’ edition is a mere 87 pages, and while I am not sure if that is a precedent or his choice, it might be some of the most compelling 87 pages I have read yet.

Arcadia: March 3. Elevation is 1.5 ft. above normal and stable, water temperature 43°F and murky. (USACE Lake Level) Blue and channel catfish fair on cut bait, shad, and stinkbait around channels and points. Crappie slow on jigs, minnows, and tube jigs around coves and docks.
Bristow Band performed for several adjudicators at the OSSAA District Band Contest in Cushing. Their performance of “Nevermore” by Brian Balmages and “El Zorro Rojo” by Randall Standridge were by far their best yet, earning them SUPERIOR ratings from all three judges and earning them a spot to perform at OSSAA State Band Contest in April.
