In a recent podcast interview, a woman said she’s convinced her grandfather was communicating with her family, from heaven. But, she also stated, “He was a staunch ATHEIST” throughout his life! HOW DOES THAT WORK? She’s saying, “In life he didn’t believe in God” as being real. The man didn’t honor God - not with his speech, not in his thoughts, and not with his actions. But now he’s in heaven!? How does that work?
“The time for judging starts with God’s family. Since we are to be judged first, what will happen to those who don’t obey the gospel of God!? The Scripture says: ‘If the righteous person will barely be saved, then where will the ungodly person and the sinner be!?”’ (1 Peter 4:17-18).
“The one who believes in Him is not judged; the one who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God…people loved the darkness rather than the Light… For everyone who does evil hates the Light” (John 3:18-21). No one can hate Jesus, but then go into heaven! How does that work?
One day Jesus was teaching. Someone told Him that His family wanted to speak with Him. Jesus replied… “Who is My mother, and who are My brothers?…whoever does the will of My Father in heaven, he is My brother, and sister, and other” (Matthew12:48-50). Are you in Jesus’ family?
The apostle Peter tells us that Jesus “was made alive in the spirit.” He then “went and proclaimed to spirits in prison, who once were disobedient when the patience of God kept waiting in the days of Noah, during the construction of the ark, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through the water” (1 Peter 3:19-20). Not many were saved! In the end, Jesus says that few will reach heaven (Matthew 7:1314).
God is all-loving and allmerciful, but heaven for atheists? How does that work?
The Bible consistently tells people that their last chance for heaven happens in THIS life. That’s where you are today!
Jesus said that “little ones,” children, have “angels in heaven (who) continually see the face of My Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 18:10).
Heaven is a real place, but, sadly, many people won’t make it.
Jesus said, “People who have pure hearts are happy, because they will see God” (Matthew 5:8). Become the kind of person who seeks God and His kingdom with a pure heart!
