Bristow residents once again have a local option for their drycleaning needs with the recent opening of J-L-V’s Dry Cleaning, owned by Jeani Varner.
Varner said she was inspired to reopen a dry-cleaning business after the previous cleaners closed, leaving the community without a local option. Finding the right location took some time, but she is excited about bringing the service back to Bristow.
Jeani offers dry-cleaning for clothing, bedspreads, quilts, formal wear, and more.Additional services include steam pressing and light, medium, or heavy starching. Varner also hopes to offer tuxedo rentals in the future.
With customer convenience in mind, Varner encourages anyone who cannot make it during regular business hours to call or text her to arrange a time that works for them.
“I am here to serve the community and be here for their dry cleaning needs,” Varner said.
For Jeani, reopening the cleaners is about more than running a business. It is about bringing a needed service back to the community she calls home.
