The Pirate Cross Country team had a great day. The girls team finished third with all five of the runners finishing, with medals, in the top 25. Ayana Bruner finished second.

Luke Fortney is coaching his final season after more than 15 years of service to countless young athletes. On the field this past Saturday, he was commemorated with memories ranging from nicknames he gave, to the phrases he was known for, along with heartfelt words from former athletes he guided.
