Joy Ann Hamilton was born March 21, 1964, to Francis James and Romalee (Goodrich) Roberts in Elmira, New York. She departed this life Oct. 14, 2021, at the age of 57. She was united in marriage to Harvey Hamilton and from this union were born three children, Nathan, Sabrina, and Emily.

Elfrieda Eliza “Toni” (Hartis) Shoopman

Elfrieda Eliza (Hartis) Shoopman was born on May 2, 1947, to William Vern Hartis and Loma Cook Hartis in Waxhaw, North Carolina. She departed this life on Sept. 17, 2021. Elfrieda was a loving wife and a mother of three daughters. She was an ordained minister and loved going to church.

Thomas “Tom” McCarty

Alexander Hernandez Rodriguez

Alexander Hernandez Rodriguez was born April 24, 1940 to Juan and Katalina Rodriguez in Granger, Texas. He departed this life Oct. 6, 2021, at the age of 81 years. Alex Rodriguez and Christine Wells were united in marriage Nov. 10, 1966, in California. They raised three children.

Darren Eugene Odell

Darren Eugene Odell was born April 23, 1965, to Ed and Kay Odell, in Tulsa. He departed this life Sept. 29, 2021, at the age of 56. He was a 1983 graduate of Bristow High School. On Dec. 2, 2013, he united in marriage with Becky Bookout. Darren was a co-owner of Odell Brothers’ Construction.

Cliff Ann “Kippy” Funk-Kinkade

Ms. Cliff Ann “Kippy” Funk-Kinkade was born on Oct. 15, 1955, to Clifford Funk and Alta Skinner-Funk. She departed this life on Sept. 4, 2021 at the age of 65. “Kippy” was a graduate of Bristow High School in 1973. She lived in the Bristow Area most of her life.

Bobby Allan Cooper

Bobby Allan Cooper was born Oct. 18, 1952, to Andrew and Lorene Cooper in Bristow. He departed this life Sept. 29, 2021, at the age of 68. He graduated from Bristow High School in 1970. On Oct. 21, 1973, Bobby Allan Cooper and Lois Pearson were united in marriage.

Beverly J. Schreckengost, 85, formerly of Airport Rd., Corry, Pennsylvania, died Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021, at the Rouse Home, Youngsville, Pennsylvania. She was born March 26, 1936 in Bristow, a daughter of the late Harold and Claudia “Maye” Yarbrough Armer.

Eliza Harjo Berryhill

Eliza Harjo Berryhill was born to Melissa Canard and Edmond Harjo on Aug. 10, 1931 in Wewoka. She married Raymond Berryhill in Okemah, and had 11 children. Eliza passed from this earth to be with our heavenly Father on Monday, Sept. 20, 2021, at her home in Bristow.
